   A grin which proved to be premature at best. Ranma held the two

seen Ranma move. One moment Ryouga and Tatewaki were almost flying
at Ranma with their desire to punish him, and the next they were
kneeling in front of him. Ryouga and Ranma did not even register

Ummm... I think that, unless his training has become REALLY 

instinctive, 

Ranma would register moving.

Somehow I find that hard to believe.

Overall:  Fantastique, though chapters 8 and 10 kinda confused me...

Hehehehehe. I'm tellin' ya, blame Lawrence Sterne (that dead
for a couple of centuries bastard). On one level we have chapter VII
which is filled with white, totally blank, coming right before Ranma
reaches Antarctica (the ice). We also have it coming directly after
the final confrontation where we learn how utterly inhuman and pure
and cold and empty(?) Ranma is. This is the kind of thing that makes
us English majors say, "very symbolic" and get really, really excited.

	Chapter X is a bit different, because it has the *s in it scattered
about randomly, as Ranma looks at the stars.... In both chapters you 

are

forced to find your own meaning....
	Okay, okay, you got me. You know me well enough to know that they
ain't the whole story behind those two chapters....
	Of course the real reason for them is two-fold: a) to make me feel
clever because no one else would hopefully get them ;-) and b) because

wanted to share my frustration in reading Tristam Shandy with all of
