Kiyone leaned against the wall and chuckled. Then giggled. Within two
minutes, she was rolling on the floor with laughter, from the sheer joy
of realizing she had solved everyone's problems. And all she had to do,
was to get Tenchi.

And now, the logical conclusion.

"Kiyone!" The detective was so collapsed in mirth that she didn't at
first hear the pitter-patter and occasional crash that heralded her
partner's arrival. "Kiyone, what's so funny?"
When Kiyone didn't respond, Mihoshi looked around in confusion... then
saw the sheer black surface of the subspace portal. "Oh! You must have
been watching a funny show! I wanna see, too!" Mihoshi stepped over to
the controls and cheerfully began pushing buttons at random.
Too late, Kiyone realized what her partner was doing, and noticed that
she was lying at the foot of the portal, which was beginning to shimmer
ominously. "Mihoshi! Don't...!"
*SHOOOOOOOOP!*
For a moment, all was blackness... and then Kiyone found herself
floating in a void of nothingness. Which, admittedly, was also
blackness...
Except for the three figures. One looked perplexed, one looked
outraged, and the third... the detective had often heard the term
'murder in their eyes', but had never actually seen it before. Until
now.
"Kiyone..." Ryoko grated, her body crackling with barely-restrained
energy, "You've got some explaining to do..."

Silly cabbit. Never underestimate the Mihoshi Factor. :)
