    Excuse me?  If you feel slighted by that statement, you shouldn't be.  It
doesn't suggest that anyone who was not asked to participate is *un*talented,
after all.  This was not some elite club.  Paul just chose writers whose work
he particularly enjoyed.  You could do the same thing, if you wanted.

of eccentricity, after all.  In the process of getting inside the

character's

heads, I confess to taking more than a few liberties, so let the end

result be

judged accordingly.

  Very... interesting (gads, that last statement there reminds me too
much of Shakespeare).

    Really?  (Personally, I can't stand iambic pentameter.)

   And let me just say that I was flattered to be asked to participate

in

this project, considering the talented authors involved, and I look

forward

  This is where you're wrong; we're ALL talented (the difference, of
course, is in degree of talent, but let's not divulge into that one).

    Wrong?  Where was I wrong?  All I said was the authours involved were
talented, which is true.  This is not meant to disparage in any way the
authours who were NOT involved.  I don't think you should take this so
personally.  It certainly wasn't meant to put anyone down.
