I thought this had some very good character work. The developments of
the Kunos' characters as they grew up seemed reasonable and believable.
The way in which they were revealed, though, often seemed a bit
heavy-handed; often it seemed that characterization bits were being
fully spelled out where a more subtle approach that lets the readers
fill in some of it for themselves might have worked better.

It didn't seem to me that you took very many liberties with the
characters. My only continuity complaint is that a significant event in
the history of the Kunos was omitted, namely da Principal shaving
Tacchi's head right before he left for Havai'i as seen in vol. 12.
