Okay... just because I did not put "Please respond privately" in my
rant, I would assume everyone out there would have the common sense to
do so anyway.  Even if I *had* put it in there, I'm sure a few out there
wouldn't have listened.  So, now if Tybalt gets hot over this string
it's my buns who are going to be evenly browned.  
     I could individually send replies to everyone who said something
about my rant... but that would be more a waste of my time than anything
else.  For the most part, people seem divided about the topic.  Others
just don't care.
     For the sake of those few hundred who just don't care, I'm going to
say end this... being the one who began it in the first place I feel
responsible.  
     Many of you said, "Write it yourself", including the illustrious
Mr. Biles.  Well, if I wanted to read my own fanfiction I wouldn't be on
this list now would I?  I'd just sit in my room and entertain myself
with a word processor or pad of paper.  No, I am here mostly because I
like reading *other* people's works.  Now, if I had posted an *idea* for
a fanfic, I'd say sure, if I want to see it I should just do it myself.
I've never posted an idea to the FFML... though I probably should have,
I wouldn't have so many unfinished fics now }:-/
     Secondly, I did *not* say end all Ranma fanfiction or anything of
that nature at all (I believe there was something about being a
hypocrite in my rant if that were the case).  I *love* Ranma fiction...
I love AMG fiction... I even love Sailor Moon fiction (not that there's
anything wrong with SM... I just get a lot of flak here at home for
liking it :P
     All I had was a hope and a wish... that I could possibly enjoy
works of fanfiction based upon some of the other characters that I know
and love.  Maybe it was a pipe dream, but I think it's a reasonable one.
Sure, I post things to have them critiqued, but I occasionally do things
that I get almost no replies for due to their being vague (such as the
Mononoke-hime short I'll be posting soon... which I tried posting during
the little FFML blackout, and it was lost at that time }:-(
How many people have seen Mononoke-hime?  Fortunately, it's coming out
here soon :)
