Actually it doesn't. It says that there's no difference between
Ranma and Genma because the Ranma we know is Genma. That makes
Ranma _more_ culpable because the combined entity is responsible
for everything they both did that was wrong.

It depends whether you consider the "real" Ranma to be the
combined Ranma-Genma entity, or the mentally deficient
'original' Ranma. I took the latter viewpoint, but I can
understand that if you take the former, as you seem to have,
Ranma would be more culpable.

Anyways, can I have my half of the hair? :)

However, if Genma really was in control of Ranma's actions,
somehow I doubt Ranma would have had nearly so much trouble
getting close to Akane...and very possibly Ukyo, Shampoo,
Kodachi...

Trying to rush things with Akane would have been most counter-
productive.

Rush things yes, but when she dared Ranma to kiss her, Genma would
not have stopped dead the way he did. Nor, would he have felt
the need to eavesdrop in Genma form on all their rendesvous,
placing another barrier between them.

There's also something missing from the story. What was
the source of Ranma's unnatural allure? Surely not Genma's
personality...

Well, he did somehow manage to snag Nodoka -- who is still
quite attractive at forty-something. :)

More likely 30-something, but we can't all be lucky enough to
find a woman who approves of peeping toms.
