First, Sean-kun,  thanks a lot for your grammar check!

I'd beg to differ there.  Shampoo still seems more intelligent and
mature than she does in the manga.

Not that that's a bad thing, though.  It's a nice contrast to all
the 'air-headed Shampoo' fics out there.

Hmmm . . . have you read manga vol 17, where she was the first one ever to
foul up Nabiki's scheme?  In the manga, she was the only one who hadn't
ever fall for the mercenary's schemes and offer her money (even Ko-chan had
made that mistake, shameful, shameful . . .)

Or in manga vol 25, where she was the only one capable of analizing
Hinako's weakness and strength in a level-headed way, while the other girls
simply fummed helplessly over their defeat by the woman.  (That's a proof
that Amazons do not always follow their laws, as Shampoo hadn't ever
endangered Hinako again after that episode and just let the case go despite
the kiss-of-death she has given to teh woman)

Or in manga vol 27, where she handles the Mousse issue well by stating to
him that she would date him not out of love, but out of respect for his
bravery to to apologize for his own mistakes. 

Or in manga vol 29, where she had outwitted Pink and Link tiem and time
again while Akane and Ranma and the rest of the tendos remained helpless
under their assaults.

Or in the final manga vol, where she outwitted Ranma again and again, then
single-handedly defeated Kilma, who was beating down on even the best of
the boys.

(sigh . ..  I've JUST got to let out all this junk all over again, damn!) 

I have to say, I wasn't quite sure what to think of this at first.  But now,
I think I like it.  It is strikingly original, when the vast majority of

Ranma

fics on the list are nothing but yet another rehash of the same tired old 
themes and ideas.

Your grammar, while still not perfect, has improved dramatically since
DnL.  The infractions that I noticed were relatively minor.

All in all, an excellent fic.
