God-knows-how-long between episodes (wasn't that originally considered one
of the signs of the apocalypse?), I might as well *finally* get the next
part of Ta'averen 1/2 out. (Stop gloating, you two. And you know who you
are.)
Oi, oi...KOC does a lot of things, but "lurch" wasn't what I had in mind...:-)
So what was the sign of apocalypse? KOC ending or restarting?
KOC (and BSSR) got put on hiatus for basically the same reason Ta'averen did;
a 100hr/week job that I held for about a year before quitting. It also took
me some time to spin back up, even after I left that company. And like you, I
always had the occasional letter asking for the series to continue.
Good luck on restarting. It's tough; I know; I've been there. I don't think
KOC has (or ever will) regain the recognition it had before it went on hiatus
and I lost many good pre-readers during my hiatus.
