While developing a fic I've been working on, I came up with way too many
idea to possibly use. The problem is, I WANT to use all of them. Take
a look at the list of some of the things I came up with and share your
opinions as to what would work, what wouldn't, and which would go well
with which. This is not to say I'll use the faves automatically, I just
want to get some other views. Reply privately please.
If you've seen one of these in a fic before, lemme know. If you know
what & where the fic is I'd love to read it.

1. Ranma is really apathetic about martial arts. He does it when
neccesary, but given the chance would rather do something else.
Anything else.
2. Ranma doesn't mind the curse. He doesn't care which form he's in.
3. Ranma really didn't like his mother.
4. Ranma forcefully rejects Shampoo repeatedly, even violently.
Something like: "I'll see Shampoo dead before I marry that bimbo!"
5. Ranma and Akane really are indifferent to each other.
6. Ranma the Telepath.
7. Ranma fought Shampoo as a boy the first time and decided to marry
her. Genma disgreed, however.
8. Ranma stops taking abuse from Akane and hits back.
9. Instead of an engagement, the Tendou's and Saotomes had a relative
change Ranma and Akane's records when they were children, to the effect
that they have been married to each other for most of their lives but
never knew it.
10. Akane was immediately attracted to Ranma, while he doesn't give a
fig.
11. Through a series of coincidences, misunderstandings, and blind bad
luck (nothing new *there*) Ranma is CONVINCED that Ukyo is a boy cursed
by Nyannichuan and stuck that way.
12. Nodoka not only did not know, but did not approve of the whole
engagements mess. Particularly that of the Saotome-Tendo one.
13. Kodachi is a real sweetheart.
14. Ranma is gay. Seriously!
15. Akane is a lesbian.
16. For some reason, something that happened in Ranma's past (my thought
is Ranma gets the wrong idea of Genma going on and on about the Tendous
and what great martial artists they are) Ranma holds a really deep
prejudice against the Tendou family.
17. Ranma finds martial artist women a real turnoff. <smirk>
18. Ranma is as manipulative as Nabiki.
19. The Tendou girls start fighting over Ranma.
20. Teh Tendous boot Genma out the door, but let Ranma stay.
21. Kunou is gay. <big smirk>
22. Instead of falling for Akane, Ryouga goes for Ranma's cursed form
after their first fight.
23. Ranma discovers the Tendou agreement very early on when he's younger
and is enthusiastic. GENMA is against it, however.
24. Cologne doesn't want Shampoo married to Ranma at all, but cant
directly end it because of the marriage law.
25. Mousse accidentally defeats Akane (thinks she's Ranma, natch).
Cologne and Shampoo insist on their marriage, whilst both Mousse and
Akane are against it.
26. Shampoo is defeated by <gulp> Soun.
27. Ranma and Akane take to each other like a pair of magnets. They
actually have to be restrained from each other.
28. Another fiance shows up. Ranma likes this one.
29. Ranma has a photographic memory.
30. Ranma swears to both Genma and Soun that he'd have to kill anyone
whom he's forced into engagement with. (perhaps he sees arranged
marriages as deeply dishonorable. I havent worked that part out yet)
31. Ranma LIKES his cursed form.
