The others looked over her shoulder as Nabiki logged to her computer.
"That's odd," she quipped as she opened up her mail file.
"What is it?" asked Ryoga, looking the wrong way to see the screen.
"The mail from the FFML has really dropped off," she replied.
"Hi ya! You think their something wrong?" asked Shampoo.
"Maybe the server when down," said Mousse.
"Or we got unsubscribed," continued Ukyo.
Nabiki raised her arms up and interrupted everyone. "Hold it guys. If we
somehow got unsubscribed, then all I have to do is send a quick message to the
server." Nabiki lowered her arms and started typing. "But," she continued,
"it might be that no one is sending anything to the list lately."
"How will we know the difference," asked Akane.
"We won't, sis."
"Unless," said Ranma, after a brief pause "we send a test message."
"Ranma no baka!" cried Akane as she raised her hand to her head.
"Way to go Ran-chan," added Ukyo, "get Tybalt-chan to ban up why don't you."
"Even Shampoo know test messages not allowed on list."
"What if it doesn't look like a test message?" Every one turned to look at
Happosai. "If it doesn't look like a test message, no one will know that it
is one, right?"
Cologne nodded her head in agreement. "Happi's right. If we spend a spamfic
or a story idea, no one will know it's really a test message."
"Why Master! You're a genius," started Soun.
"Quite right, Soun. Smarter than the average martial artist," finished
Genma.
"Yea, but," interrupted Ryoga, "what are we going to send?"
Everyone stopped to consider this.
Author's Notes: OK guys, have fun figuring this one out.
