Laziness still has everything to do with it.  If you can't go out
there and find a mailer that isn't bound by the limitations of some
brain-dead OS, then you're lazy.

<Shrug>  The same can be said of someone who doesn't find a reader that
can handle text attachments. 

However, that isn't necessarily laziness.  I am exceedingly cowardly 
about putting new executable programs on the computer, not to mention 
far too poor to buy any new software, and reluctant to download freeware 
which I have no intention of registering.  Surely I'm not alone.  

Still, I admire the purity of your contempt for the cyber-peasantry.    


The exceptions, I suppose, are Hotmail, et al, as you're stuck with
using their silly web-interfaces, and people at work whose employers
won't let them install other software on their machines.
