Hello again, people.  Just thought I'd bring your attention to a fanfic project I've had the proverbial hand in.

 [Scene fades in on a view of Earth from a ways beyond geosync orbit (13856.551 kilometers ASL).  The camera begins to close in, and if one looks carefully the international space station can be made out...]

Narrator: March, 1996.  The place...

 [Our POV dives into the atmosphere, through the clouds, heading towards the Japanese home islands.]

Narrator: ...that part of Tokyo known as Nerima.  The subject...

 [The view cuts to static just as the aerial view of the capital fills the screen.  In turn, the static fades to darkness.  Shortly thereafter, a single spotlight snaps on, revealing Mikado Sanzenin in his usual shoes, slacks, and monogrammed Armani shirt; he is smiling at the camera.  Close by, in the background, is a shadowy form.  Little can be made out of this second person; from the shilouette, however, a careful observer can deduce that he - definitely he - is wearing BDUs.  The view freezes.]

Narrator: ...one Mikado Sanzenin.

 [Text fades into view, centered horizontally, and a bit above the bottom.  The first line is twice the size of the second; the typeface is the title font Bungie Software uses for its Marathon series.]
