Well I thought about ideas to jump on the Halloween fic bandwagon, but I
couldn't come up with anything original (much like the latest Simpsons
specials! ^_-).
So the idea of having a fic starring the cast of the RPML
(<plug> Join it!!! </plug>) trick or treating around the ani-verse.
And so I present "The RPML's Halloween"! Turn off the lights, get out some
candy, and put on the Hellbilly Deluxe CD, 'cause this ain't gonna be
scary!!! ^ ^!!!

"I can't believe Tamara bleached Yari-ohki's fur yellow." Petes said
as he looked at Yari-ohki's 'Pikachu' costume. Linnen skipped over in her
Ash Catchem costume and giggled.
"I never gone out on Halloween. How much candy will I get?" Linnen
asked as she put on her baseball cap.
"Depends on how long we'll be out..." Petes trailed off with the
lyrics 'all night long!' in his head.
"Hey Erica! You ready!?"
Erica came down the stairs dressed in a Okanomoyaki outfit, her hair
had a big white bow in it and a large black spatula was on her back.
"So what do you think?" Erica asked smiling.
"<Damn she looks cute in that get-up...> Nice." Petes finally said.
"Nice? This is probably better than your costume." Erica said,
annoyed that Petes wasn't overly impressed.
"Oh yea? Just a sec'." Petes said and picked up a glass of cold
water, he poured it over himself and changed into his cursed form, Akane Tendou.
"Heh. You were saying?" Petes grinned.
"A blatant abuse of a curse." Erica muttered and her ears flattened.
"You're just saying that 'cause your tail and ears ruin the image."
Petes chuckled and his clothes shifted into a short skirt, a blouse and knee
socks.
"Hee hee! Hey lookit! Knee socks!"
"<He's hopeless...> Why Petes, I never knew you had a taste for
crossdressing." Erica said with a smirk.
"Yes well it takes a certain kind of perso- HEY!" Erica burst out
laughing as Petes nearly fell for her joke.
"Stupid raccoon-girl." Petes cursed under his breath and looked back up the
stairs.
"Don't tell me Raye is still up there." Erica said in a half whine.
"Yep."
"Well it's hard to concentrate on a costume with my symbiote!"
Raye(3) shouted as she came down the stairs in a red devil costume, just as
tight as her plugsuit.
"Oh and Crystal L wants to come too."
As if on cue, Sir Crystal Lord came down the stairs dressed up in
his usual KTF uniform, carrying a odd belt.
Petes took the initiative, "What, pray tell, are you going to be?"
"Watch!" Crystal Lord put on the belt and pressed a button, slowly
he morphed into.......
Sailor Jupiter.
"Heh. Makes sense." Petes chuckled and picked up her pillow
cover/candy sack and went after Erica and Linnen, with Crystal Lord and
Raye(3) trailing behind.
"I have a feeling this is gonna be a night fer the books!"

The RPML Halloween Fic' Special

As Petes and co' walk down the path the figures of two more people
can be seen, Petes soon identifies them as Foster dressed as Elwood Blues,
and Napier as Jake Blues carrying a laptop.
"Hey Foster! I see even guys as old as you even go out!" Petes said
with a big grin as he greeted Foster and Napier.
"What's up with the computer?"
"Hey! I'm a person too!" A voice shouted from the speakers and Petes
looked at the screen to see the horned, and green haired, computer AI known
as LANGLEY.
"Just because I have no physical body doesn't mean I can't go out too!
Besides, SD-Erica is out pretending to be a member of a Quake clan named
'Pimpdaddy', so I had no one to keep me company."
Foster and Petes cringed at the mention of the oddly named Quaker, a
person they've met a few times, not usually at good ones either.
"Well you guys coming with us? We're heading to Tokyo." Petes offered.
"Sure." Foster simply replied and came along with them.
"Um, who's handling the candy at the Tower then?"
"Leona."

"<This is SO dull!>" Leona thought to herself as she picked up the
candy bowl and paused 'Plan 9 from Outerspace' and went to the lobby to
answer the doorbell.
At the door was a pair of VERY busty girls that resembled Akane and
Shampoo, the Talented Duo.
"Trick or Treat!" They said smiling and holding out their bags with
anticipation.
"We take 'talent' if candy bad." Xian Pu said, Leona shot a nasty look at her.
"Xian Pu only kidding! Not much 'talent' to take!" Xian Pu quickly said, but
got another look from Leona.
"You two can pick whatever you want, the boss got assorted candy."
Leona said holding out the bowl.
TDAkane and Xian Pu were just about to take their picks when
suddenly the head of the Quaker Oats man popped out of the bowl.
"I vill take your cute noses!"
Before the rest of him could come out, the Talented Duo punted him
beyond LEO and happily took a Snickers each and hopped along saying
something about him never going to learn his lesson.
Leona of course, sweatdropped.

Tokyo's Nerima district was very busy that night, trick or treaters
were all over the place, and coming down the street was Petes and co'.
"Well the last few places have been good to us..." Petes happily
giggled and looked at Erica's bag to see her haul, Erica immediately moved
it away and stuck her tongue out.
"I don't think so Petes, you're not getting your grubby daemon hands
on my stash!"
"Not even a trade?" Petes sniffed, a very odd sight to see ANY Akane
acting like that.
Erica just hung her head down and mumbled, "Well... Maybe..."
"Good then!"
The group soon found themselves in front of the Tendou Dojo, Petes
raises her hand to knock on the door and it's opened by Soun and Mr Panda.
"Welcome to The Tendou house of horror!" Soun says in a
cheesy/spooky voice. Mr panda holds up a sign saying 'Boo!' and smiles (I
don't know how a Panda smiles, it just does).
Petes and Erica just stare at them.
"You ate all the candy, didn't ya'?" Petes asked.
Soun and Mr Panda start to stutter a bit and Soun exclaims that it
wasn't their fault, Nabiki ate the first half (see the STACT theory on the
RanmaML FAQ for the reasons). Petes just shrugs and comes in, the others
following him.
"Now that IS a scary costume!" Ranma states as he sees Petes, but
the joke is short lived as Akane hits him over the head and drags him away.
"Look in terror at the... ROOM OF UNDERWEAR!!!" Soun says in the
cruddy voice again and opens the door to Happousai's room, everyone
sweatdrops and looks at Soun oddly.
"Well _I_ find it scary!"
Soun later leads them through the rest of the house, nothing much to
mention, but it was all pretty bad...
Kasumi, thankfully, send them off with a freshly baked snack, much
to their enjoyment.
"Well that was a mixed visit!" Erica said while munching on her snack.
"Yes well... Hey Yoru!" Petes called out as he saw a guy dressed as
Rezo the red priest, with him was a female Quake 2 marine with big glasses,
and what seemed to be Ukyou dressed as Naga.
"Hey there Petes, been to the Tendous I see." Yoru pointed out.
"Yep. Hey check it out," Petes pulls out a pair of pink panties. "I
swiped it from Happi, and they're Shamps'!" Petes then giggles and is soon
whacked in the head by Erica's spatula.
"Hey, isn't that my Shadowspat?" Yoru asked as Erica put away the
black spatula.
"Er... Umm... No!" Erica quickly lied.
"Well whatever. Hey We're heading to the Moroboshi residence, wanna
come?" Yoru asked Petes, whom was still rubbing her head.
"Yea, sure. Lead the way!"

The sounds of zakkings could be heard from outside the house, Petes,
Yoru, and co' slowly walked up the driveway. Coming down was Kunou dressed
as Bishop (from X-men), with Kasumi at his side.
"Hey guys." Kunou said as he walked up to them.
"YAY KUNO!!!" Petes shouted and grinned.
"Cute. Hey they got Mr Bigs up there." Kunou said, gesturing at the
house.
"Sweet. Hey Kunou, where's Kosami, the vegisex-obsessed Kasumi?"
Petes questioned looking around.
"Well I figured that since the professor doesn't have any physical
body, she should stay behind and give out candy."
"Uh oh."

"NO NO NO!!!" The hologram known as the Professor shouted.
"Get that candybar OUT from your skirt!"
*****
Later on Yoru, Kyobi, and Ukyo parted company from Petes and co'.
Just nearby the Nekohaten.
"I dunno..." Petes mumbled as she looked nervously at the Cat Cafe.
"She might still be mad... And she knows about my curse..."
"Aw comon Daddy," Linnen pleaded to Petes. "I'm sure she'll be nice."
"Alright." Petes said finally and lead them inside the Cafe.
It was empty, no one was going out for dinner that night, and so it
was just Shampoo and Cologne, Mousse oddly wasn't around.
Shampoo got up as they entered, she seemed to ignore Petes and knelt
down infront of Linnen.
"Aiyaa. You look kawaii dressed like that." She said smiling at Linnen and
gave her some extra treats.
Petes just scratched the back of her neck and continued to look
nervously at Shampoo.
"Don't worry Petes, I going to forget it for tonight." Shampoo said
and finished giving out some candy to the rest.
"Even though it all your fault."
"Why thank- Wait a sec'..." Petes said before he was lead out by Erica.
"Just smile, nod, and try not to think about it." Erica said and
they left.
"Sigh. Why does he keep showing up here?" Shampoo asked herself, put
the bowl back down, and when back to cleaning tables.

Later on they came infront of the Kuno residence, Petes AGAIN, got a
nervous look.
"He's gonna call me he 'beauteous Akane', I just know it!"
"He is not going to call you his 'beauteous Akane' trust me." Erica
assured her.
Before they could go up the walkway, two figures dressed as Mononoke
Hime and Ashitaka with a tail oddly on him, came up to Petes and Erica.
"Why if it ain't Pocahontas and 'He with weak tail'!" Petes joked
with DoCoMegumi and Ranhan.
"Hey Petes. You know this costume is sooooo clingy..." DoCoMegumi
joked back, causing Petes to nose bleed.
"Thabs a dot!" Petes said, pinching her nose.
"Well you guys coming?" Ranhan asked, motioning at the Kunou estate.
"Da da..." Petes said, still pinching her nose and followed the others.
The door was opened by Kuno, he suddenly glomped onto DoCoMegumi.
"Oh my beauteous Akane!"
"See?" Erica said to Petes.
"Heh."
Kodachi came out and handed everyone a cookie and shut the door
behind, leaving a very 'bonked' out Kuno.
DoCoMegumi, coincidentally, was holding a mallet.
"Hmmm..." Petes examined her cookie.
"<I don't trust that 'Dachi...> To me my personal projectile!" Suddenly Pat,
with ramen noodles hanging from his mouth, appeared in Petes' hands.
"Here Pat, eat!" she said as she forced the cookie in Pat's mouth, he soon
fell into a drug induced sleep.
"Hey!" Linnen said as Petes snatched the cookie from her.
"Never trust unwrapped food, and a Kuno!"

Soon DoCoMegumi and Ranhan parted company from Petes and co',
leaving them near a alley, HunterX dressed as Vincent, the android Ukyou
dressed as Tifa, and Mariko dressed as Arith.
"Hey guys!" HunterX called out. "This place down the alley had great
stuff! I got 5 candy bars just because I was dressed as Vincent! Well
later!" HunterX and the other two walked down the street and waved.
Once Petes knocked on the doorway that resembled the door of an
outhouse, it was opened by someone who resembled male Petes dressed as a
John Carpenter style vampire.
"Well look at you- YOU!" He exclaimed and pointed at Petes.
"Ahhhg! HMP!" Petes cried and drew her Buster sword from
hammerspace. HMP also drew his Hardedge at the same time and went into a
ready stance.
"Hey, um, can't this wait?" Raye(3) asked as she tapped her
pitchfork on HMP's shoulder, he didn't notice.
"You want a piece of me?" Petes asked.
"No! I want the whole thing!" HMP shouted back.
"You're looking fer trouble!"
"Yeah, trouble for you!"
"Oh ho! You'll be the one in a world of trouble mister!"
"Hey!" Raye(3) shouted right in HMP's ear, sending him reeling
backwards. "Candy! Pronto!"
"Sigh. Alright here you go." HMP said and gave out candy bars to the
others, he then shot a nasty look at Petes,
"Until next time, old man..." He turned to the others and smiled.
"Have a happy Halloween!"
"You too Petes-kun!" The tight black dress wearing Nyx said smiling
all sultry-like at Petes as she popped her out from behind the door. HMP
glared at her.
"Heh. Yea, you too!" Petes said and ran after the others.

Even later, they stopped at an apartment, it was opened by a tall
girl with brown hair in a ponytail.
"Oh, that Sailor Jupiter costume is so cool!" She exclaimed and gave
Crystal Lord some extra rockets.
"I bet the _real_ Sailor Jupiter would be impressed."
"<Boy, she's awful at hiding her secret identity...>" Crystal Lord
thought to himself and thanked her.

After 2 more hours, they all finished up and Foster, Napeir, and
LANGLEY, went back to SCG/NERV Section 2. While Petes, Erica, Linnen,
Yari-ohki, Crystal Lord, and Raye(3), went back to the tower.
Linnen went right to bed since she was so tired, but of course she
said it was great and couldn't wait for next year.
"Hey Petes," Erica said as Petes changed his clothes back and dumped
some hot water on himself. "I rented 'I know what you did 10 minutes ago',
you wanna watch it? I don't like watching slashers alone..."
"Baby." Petes smirked.
"Alright. I'll watch it."
About an hour into the movie, it began to get rather suspenseful and
Erica was virtually on the edge of her seat...

*The girl is slowly walking in the dark room, a shadow is seen behind her,
she turns around and a hook comes at her*

Erica, at that moment, yelped, leaped up, and fell on top of Petes,
in a very awkward, embracing like position. Erica and Petes looked up at
each other and got those starry eyes that seem to be mandatory for romantic
scenes in a R1/2 OAV.
"Erica."
"Y...Yes?"
"You're knee is crushing my Mr Big." Petes said, breaking the
moment. Erica quickly got up and noticed there wasn't a candy bar where he
knee was.
"Sorry."
"It's alright," Petes said as he slowly got up. "I'm kinda tired
anyways. G'night Erica." he said and left for his bed room.
"Happy Halloween."
Erica just watched him as he left and finally said...
"Good night, Petes-chan."
