Just as a reminder to everyone:
If, for whatever reason, you can't get your editor to save with
normal quotes, you can use the cleanup@thekeep.org service to get
rid of the messed up smartquotes.
Just send you fic to 'cleanup@thekeep.org' and within a couple of
of seconds you should get back a copy of your work with any Microsoft
Word 'smartquotes' removed.
As an added bonus it'll give you a list of words it thinks might
be misspelled (unfortunately still lacking any Japanese name support,
though it's being worked on), and some statistics on your writing
style.
