Once again, a tightly written prelude.  It wasn't in the least
controversial; Neither did Soun cook nor did Akane swim a lap or two. 

I couldn't help but feel sorry for both Kasumi and Nabiki.  Both had
forgone relationships with others to enhance their personal dreams.
What use is attaining a goal if there is no one to share it with?
