I couldn't help but feel sorry for both Kasumi and Nabiki.  Both had
forgone relationships with others to enhance their personal dreams.

In a sense, yeah. Though in Kasumi's case, it's out of a sense of duty,
not because she really wants to, and in a sense the choice is being made
for her.

What use is attaining a goal if there is no one to share it with?

Very good question. We'll see how things work out for our two heroines
in the main series. (I actually wrote some on it yesterday! Yay! ^_^)
