I have to admit, I'm surpised Rob and Lurker lasted as long as they did.
Hell, I'm surprised a lot of other "senior" people haven't ditched the ML.

All due respect to Gregg, but this needs to be said:

The Bet has to die.  Immediately.

I participated in it once...WAY back when.  It was a cute idea...WAY back
when.  It's taken over the bedamned list.  Not a day goes by that I'm not
inundated with posts regarding this thing, and it's driving me nuts.  I was
tired of it...oh...say...a week after I put forward the Tendo-Triplets idea.
It's got to stop.

If you want to post Ranma stories, all power to you.  If you want to post
alternat universes, goody for you.  But we don't need to see every single
bedamned draft!
All that "The Bet" does for me is give me another reason to use the
filter-to-trash function on my emailer.  In a way, it's much like Ryoucilo.

Ah well, maybe I'll stick it out a bit longer.  I tend to be an optimist and
hope things will get better.
