Well ^_^
	Normally I'd take my own advice and not add to the spam of a
thread which has outlived its usefulness ;) but I figured I'd throw in my
two cents.
	I only cursorily read this piece because frankly it wasn't a topic
that interested me. But I for sure recognized the format as I'm sure a lot
of you do (especially Gary, in Milwaukee!): it's an obvious parody of the
Madison/Milwaukee/Denver weekly satire rag called "The Onion". Which
claims to be "America's Finest News Source", is published by T. Herman
Zweibel, Publisher Emeritus (who is 144 years old, or so) and is an
incredibly biting and often unforgiving satire on the world's state of
social affairs.
	While yes, I think maybe for the FFML that wasn't in the best of
teaste or in the best spirit of cohabitation, I don't think the original
author was intending to bust people's backs so much as he was trying to
present his opinion in a humorous manner consisten with a RL analog. I'm a
firm believer in the credo that if someone WANTS to insult you they'll
bloody well DO it, and not skirt the issue in a way like the author is
being accused of. Maybe I'm just naive.
	In short, I'm neither defending nor attacking anyone or anything,
just offering a potential explanation and, hopefully, calming
rationalization for a situation that got WAY out of hand.
