There were various actions.  The boys stared, the girls fumed at
seeing the boys reactions.  The worse of the lot was Asuka.

     *I will not be upstage by some some new girl.* Asuka thought.

     "Class, please seated.  My name is Ranko Saotome."

So what does everyone think?  Should I continue this or not?

You know, I've never seen Evangelion.  So occasionally I wonder
whether Asuka is idiot she always seems to be in fanfiction.  

	No. People are simply very hasty to judge her; plus, she's rather 
difficult to write adequately, let alone write well.

In any case, would Asuka regard her teacher as "a new girl"?

	Also, no.
	In any case, I've recommended against this being continued.
