I must agree.  The whole idea is so far off the expected track for R1/2
fics that it's caught nearly everyone's attention and started even the
densest ones thinkin'.

The appeal and grab of this idea is just too much to let go, now that so
many have seen it.

The ball has started rolling, with no stop in sight.  Now you gotta
follow it.
