I hope this is in some way a helpful type of an answer.

< I know that Tybalt might ban this thread, but I really have to
<know for a fic that I'm writing what the meaning

The meaning of life, throughout all of time that is the question
everyone tries to answer. They stumble around looking for the
proverbial wiseman on a hill or in some ancient tomes. There are also
quite a few who simply listen for a voice to follow. In consideration
of all of this searching which yields no answer, the idea of finding
an answer vicariously seems ludicrous as well as the idea of one
answer. Each person is even if they choose not to believe so, unique.
As it is said like or similarly minded and not same minded. Therefore
the truth must hold that different minds comprehend differently. This
means that there is no real universal meaning to life.

This is not an answer to the question presented but it seems to
be the right thing to write in preperation for a type of answer.
That is that everyone must find their own meaning of life but there
are some ideas to help find that meaning. One of those being that to
concentrate on the path or road one must remove certain clouding
elements from one's mind. One of those being the end and the
beginning. That is not to mean the precious memories or plans but the
recognition that these are the times already passed through and the
times yet to come. They have no immediate purpose as we cannot go back
or force the sun forward. To overcome the future is to overcome fear.
That is most obviously the fear of death or other horrors that plague
the human soul. They are so concentrated on in this era that hardly
nothing else is given attention at times. To overcome the past is to
fling away excessive regret. The binding agent of inaction. It is
regret that holds us in the past and therefore we do not concentrate
on the path. This is only the first task and easiest as it is the
mere preperation for with fear and regret not gone for they are
natural but held under the control of the mind there is but one
element standing in most people's way to understanding or viewing
their path. That is most oddly and if considered, laughably
themselves. That is the greatest joke of all. A person may find many
things in their own path which will tear them apart. This is why
regret and fear must be abolished so that one may actually see the
state of ones path without trying to delude one's self. In a way what
one does is what one is.

From the above, a person writing who wishes to include an
abstract term such as the meaning of life should find it within the
spectrum of each character being written about. Thus, perhaps studying
there defining traits will allow a person to create a meaning for
them. In example: A fool's main characteristics are naivette and a
childish nature. He does not care for the meaning of life so it is
simply 'to do' for him. Also, as others may find their own meaning
they may believe it to be the only true meaning.

That is all I can think of on the subject right now. If anyone has any
ideas about it tell me
