is ban-worthy), WHY THE @~!#!@#$!@^!!!! ARE YOU CONTINUING THE THREAD?!?

This is at least as bad as the "I know test messages are banned, but is
the mailing list down?" messages mentioned in the FAQ. 

Please, guys. If you honestly think you're posting in a thread that's
going to be banned, either try to shift the thread back on-topic for the
list, or don't post at all. You'll be saving almost everybody time and
trouble.
