In the last chapter of Shampoo 1/2 I posted, several people have 

asked me

 how is it Ukyou knew the 'Bakusaii Tenketsu' to blow Tessai into 

tiny

 pieces.

Actually, we weren't wondering HOW Ukyo knew the technique, we were 

wondering

why it worked to blow Tessai apart. The Bakusai Tenketsu doesn't work 

on

living things, remember? Only rocks or other similarly non-living 

things. You

CAN'T use it to blow somebody else apart.

very true but since Tessai's power is to transform his body into rock
(at least the outer layer- the power increase the shogun gave him may 
have increased that even more, so her attack would at least blow his 
skin off- and seeing as how its a full directional explosion, sould 
probably destroy the interior of his arm at the least- if most of him 
was rock then he would easily lost the body part)
