This is a nice new fanfic which managed to capture my attention from part
1. I have seen the idea of vampires being non-evil/sensual beings used in
another fanfic before; "Sailor Moon Vampire" (lemonish), and I guess this
fanfic appeals to me in similar ways as SMV did.
I've not read this. I'm assuming it's available in the RAAC archive?
Hrrmmm... research material... ^_^
I must admit I did kind
of half-expect Nodoka to "help" Kasumi in part 4 when she was over-horny
>from drinking that girl's blood. ^_^
While I did originally include this concept in one of the early drafts of
chapter 4, I felt that it clashed with the main body of the story.
It's so OOC for Nodoka as to be laughable. The woman is unreasonable and
unrealistic sometimes, but she has very strictly defined gender roles.
Lesbianism, of *any* degree, is simply not an option for her the way it is
for Ranma or the Tendou girls.
At least in my interpretation...
Poor Nodoka...not trusted by her own son like that. Personally, I would
have thought Ranma would have been a less discriminating person though.
This is a guy who's been posessed more than once, and has fought an endless
number of ghosts, demons, spirits, and/or monsters. To find out his mother
is a 'monster' is quite a shock for him.
Remember that he is the son of Nodoka, the *same* woman who was quite
willing to make him go through with seppuku because of his curse. Until
it's proven to her that he is 'manly' no matter what his form, she fully
intends to go through with the contract.
Stubborness, as my lovely assistant has taught me, runs in the family.
Here's a little suggestion I have for future parts, if/when Ranma decides
to become a vampire. How about Ranma (supposedly in girl form; more fun
that way...:P) ends up drinking Ukyou's blood, then can't control her
hormones afterwards and ends up doing the ecchi with Ucchan? ^_^
Hrmrmmmmmmm...
