Hello there,

   I'm new to the list, so please don't kill me if I make any amazing
breaches of protocol :)

   What is attached is a fanfic I have started about what happens after

the

third impact as depicted in End of Evangelion.

   Since I feel there are many, many different ways to interpret this, I
chose to interpret it like this (WARNING: if you haven't seen D&R or End
stop where you are now)



   I chose to interpret the ending as the Third Impact was successful, and
Shinji is in his idea of "heaven" - a world where he is alone with Asuka.
Before you start yelling and say "No this happened instead" remember what
Anno said about how he was sick of boring animes.  The ending can be
interpreted to mean any number of things; this is my interpretation.
Anyways, everyone else has evolved into the superbeing that Lorenz wanted.
The story will take a look at life in the collective, as it has become, and
will center around Shinji and Asuka in this new, strange world.

   Anyways, I hope you like it.  It's only a start, I just wanted to see

if

anyone liked the idea of it.  If you do, or don't, or just want to tell me
it sucks, please email me - this is my first fanfic, after all.
