But then Tenchi, who really loved Ryoko all along, intervened with the Wings of the Light Hawk, which NERV found out, could cut through an AT field like a hot knife through butter. That made Asuka start hating Tenchi for being better than her without an EVA, and Gendou deciding to make Tenchi a pilot, even if he wasn't one of the children. However, on Tenchi's first trial run, Mihoshi, who happened to be observing the test, crashed in the Tendo Dojo and got Ranma very angry because she spilt the only food that wasn't cooked by Akane that he had. He then decided to teach the bubblehead a lesson by splashing her with water from Akaneniichuan. However, Shinji, who had been scared by the angry Ryoko, and Tenchi, then terrified by the pissed off Rei, decided that he really loved Mihoshi, but ended up grabbing Akane by mistake in Unit-01. Of course the entire Nerima gang decided to chase after the Akane grabbing EVA. But as soon as Shinji realized what he had done, he tried to take Akane back as she was threatening to mallet him in the entry plug. But wouldn't you know it, after a few minutes, Akane decided that Shinji was much better than that jerk Ranma, and instead took control of Unit-01, Yui liking Akane better than Rei or Asuka or Mihoshi, and ran off never to be seen again. Ranma decided to marry Mihoshi. Tenchi became the best pilot that NERV ever had and stuck around with Ryoko.  Rei, Asuka, and the rest of Tenchi's girls decided to setup an alternate lifestyle house and asked Ritsuko and Misato (Who were very t'd off at the author for forgetting them) to join The quick brown cabbit jumped over the lazy penguin.
