Somewhere in the Colorado region
<Mousse, three mobile suits, Leo II type, heading your way> The eyes of the
mobile suit bearing Mousse suddenly blazed "Understood, I see them" he
replied as he relaxed in his cockpit. He focused his chi and allowed it to
expand. As it expanded every device it touched switched on fusing the
pilot and his mobile suit. "And now for the hard part ... waiting."
Mousse said as he switched on the cloaking device allowing Gundam Orochi to
vanish ... in plain sight.
Mousse slowly relaxed returning his consciousness back to his body as he
recalled the events that brought him to this moment...
(Mousse)
Now how did it all begin? Oh yeah, I saw Ranma glomping Shampoo, well
maybe it was Shampoo glomping Ranma, but I guess my mind was a little
clouded back then, clouded by love I guess. <Obsession is more appropriate
I believe. > Wha... Ranma? Have you been listening all along, get outta
my head Saotome. <Baka! There's no time for recollections now; The Leos
are almost on top of you. > Sigh! Understood Commander.
Slowly, Mousse eases out of his body once again, expanding his
consciousness once again, each part of the Orochi coming to life, readying
itself for the task at hand. If the eyes of the Mobile Suit could have
been seen the viewer could swear that it was glowing with anticipation.
"What exactly are we supposed to be doing here again ma'am?" Isei Tagashi,
a new recruit to the OZ armies asked his superior officer in trepidation.
The woman in charge a certain Mei Lowell sighed and repeated herself for
the umpteenth time. "A rebellion facility was spotted a few miles from
here, we are supposed to get rid of it, if any one of you stupid ass holes
ask me that question again, I swear, I'll..." her words were stopped cold
but was soon followed by her death throes. All Isei saw were chains
ripping the lead Leo apart inch by painful inch. Just as he was about to
turn tail and head back to headquarters his mech was suddenly thrown
towards the remains of the lead mech, that was when he saw it, an eye,
gleaming with what appeared to be glee, eager for their destruction. It
was at that moment that he screamed, an act that would be his last. For at
that moment, his world was bathed in fire.
Mousse looked at his handiwork and smirked, he didn't even exert himself.
He looked around him, checking the wrecks for signs of life, seeking out
possible witnesses. Satisfied that he had done his job he reported to
Ranma of his success.
(Mousse)
Commander, mission accomplished. The Leo squadron was totally wiped out, no
survivors. <Check again, my sensors detect a faint life sign somewhere at
your three o clock.> Damn! Understood ma'am scanning surroundings now. <Rub
it in why dontcha!> Sorry commander. <Just hurry up or I might convince
Releena-sama that she wants Mandarin style duck for dinner.> Aww come on
Saotome, you're taking this too personally, is it that time of month
already? <*Grrr* Just get to work smart mouth.> Besides, I don't turn into
a duck anymore remember? <We'll just have to improvise won't we? Enough
chatter, find that survivor before he spots you, we can't let OZ know about
us.> Understood.
Mousse mentally twitched the controls for Orochi's scanners and his mind
was bombarded with information. Infrared scans,psy-com disturbance
readings and Aura wave patterns filtered into his head and were scanned
faster than humanly possible. He had been fed the data and could now come
up with only one conclusion, the commander was right, one still lived. And
since he has disengaged his cloak to scan the area better that would mean
that the scraggler could see his Orochi, damn!
Isei was lucky. Sure he felt like a charbroiled chicken but at least he's
alive right? To top that off, if he could report this to central command
Lord Treize would surely reward him, maybe even give him his own squadron.
Now if only he could convince his body to move. Suddenly he felt a
shimmering towards his left, he looked and saw but did not believe. A huge
mobile suit was looking away from him, it's frightful visage, somewhat
similar to an age old chinese conqueror. And the almost human face, left
him no doubt that it was a Gundam. But weren't all Gundams destroyed by
the great Lightning Baron Zechs Marquis? If so, how could a Gundam still
exist? Deep in his musings he failed to notice that the Gundam was staring
at him, not toward him but directly at him, neither did he notice the
gigantic foot that ground him into the earth. *Splat*
