ON A SHORTAGE OF MOTHERS by Ross Gilbertson
So you see, Genma is your father in all the ways that matter. My
constant prayer however is that one day you will find your lost
siblings... Why Ranma! Why are you choking!"
"I... I... I can't believe I'm engaged to my sister!"
"Don't be silly, Ranma. Akane's only your cousin."
Ranma stopped at this and thought about it. "I guess it's okay then," he
said after a while, in relief. However, out of the corner of his eye, he
spotted a wicked expression on his mother's face which warned him that all
was not explained ... yet.
Nadoka grinned at him. "There's something else I think you should know ..."
she said, picking up the kettle and pouring the contents over her head.
Ranma's eyes widened as her shape shifted. Was his mother cursed as well?
Nadoka grew in size until the dark, red-haired woman was replaced by a
somehow, familiar looking man with dark hair. A _very_ familiar looking man.
"Nadoka is not really my name," the new man said, tying his loose black hair
into a pigtail. "I am you, using the time-travel abilities of Happosai's
mirror to become my own mother! I am Ranma Saotome too!"

This whole story idea can be summed up by the expression, "Ick!"
Which is why I immediately thought of this when I read it :)
Ah, well, back to my own fics ...
