I think the confusion arose here because, to a lot of people, "modern 
weaponry"="guns", so the reader is left wondering why Cologne can't be 
shot by someone with a .45?  I figured out what you really meant, but 
you might want to make it clearer that you're talking about _heavy_ 
weaponry (artillery, bombs, missiles and the like).

OK, I think I can do that. I know that guns vs. martial artists is a
controversial subject here in fanfic-land. The assumption in HaM is that
it would take the heavy stuff to bring down Cologne -- though I don't
begrudge other people from using different conventions.

I'd recommend casual sex.  I've heard it does wonders.
