attempt at cultural survival.

there is gonna be a certain movement to keep things slow..  considering,
this is going to reduce world population to manageble levels for the first
time in decades.. 

   Not only that, but as I mentioned previously, there will also be the
political desire to maintain a high female-male ratio on the part of the
new ruling class (women).  People who have power want to keep it, you
know!
