Well, you are sometimes commited for observation in the US. (So they can
make sure you remember to take your pills - something my maternal Grandmother
did - and that you still don't try to commit sucide.)
Considering Ranma, I wouldn't be surprized in the least if he quite taking
the medicine when he felt better...
