quit pounding on my skull.

Pandem Academy: Prologue

	"So...these are the people we want as students and teachers?"
	"Yes, sir."
	"Start arranging for them."

	There was a crackle over the school intercom.  "Will Saotome Ranma and Tendo
Akane please report to the principal's office," said the voice of the
temporary principal.

	A voice in a dark alley asked, "Hey, you Ryoga Hibiki?"
	"Hai..."
	"Oh good."  A hand reached out and clamped a white cloth over Ryoga's face.

	The door opened, and Sasami looked out.
	A woman in a prim business suit asked, "Hello, I'm looking for Washu..."

	"What do you mean, you're sending me off to boarding school???"
	"Kate, we think you need to work on your social skills..."
	"Why?  It's not like I'd ever use them..."

	Cadets Sandi, Alni, and Eth, even though they were stuck in hospital beds,
still fought each other.
	"Quiet down, you cadets!  Because of your constant fighting, we're giving you
ambassador assignments."
	"WHAT?"
	"SANDI, I'M GONNA KILL YOU!"
	"I'm so glad you forget about my existence, Alni..."
	"Shut up, Eth."

	Yuri looked at her parents.  "So you are going to send me off to this Academy
for the next ten or so years?  Cool!"

	"Do you think it will be safe to send our dear little boy off to a boarding
school for so long?"
	"Mom!  I'm eighteen!"

	"Has all the arrangements been done?"
	"Almost completely.  Some of the parents want to tour the place.  Shall we?"
	"Why not?  Just make sure that everything's in place when they visit.  I
think the first day of orientation will do nicely..."
