This is the first & second chapters

WARNING: ALTERNATE REALITY



[Ranma-chan and Genma-panda are walking in the rain, toward the Tendo 
Dojo.]

Ranma-chan: (thinking) I can't wait to see Akane again. It's been so 
long 
since I last saw her. Wonder what she's been doing these last ten years. 
Is 
she still mourning over Mrs. Tendo? Well I  guess I'll find out soon.

[At the Dojo]

Soun: Nabiki! Kasumi! Akane! Come here now!

[All three girls run to Soun, wondering what happened.]

Kasumi: What happened, father? Are you hurt?

Soun: No, dear. Genma and Ranma are coming back from their training trip
in China.

Akane: Finally! When are they arriving? I can't wait to see Ranma again!

Nabiki: Sounds like someone has a crush on you-know-who.

Kasumi: Nabiki! That's not fair to Akane. She and Ranma are the best of
friends.

Nabiki: Well, something could develop, I mean look at them when they 
were
kids, Akane and him would share everything and if either were in 
trouble,
they would do ANYTHING to help, right?

Akane: Well, yeah, but we're BEST FRIENDS nothing can change that.

[They hear someone outside and Kasumi goes to open the door.]

Ranma-chan: Uh...hiya Kasumi, how's everything goin'?

Genma-panda: Growf

Kasumi: Oh my, I think we have visitors.

Akane: Ranma? Is that you?

Ranma-chan: Akane! It's been a long time!

Akane: You're Ranma, right?

Ranma-chan: Um...yah, can I get some hot water first? I need ta show you
something important.

Akane: Kay. Just hold on a minute.

[Runs into the kitchen as Ranma and the family walk inside the house]

Nabiki: Hey Ranma, weren't you a boy last time we saw you?

[Akane hands him a kettle of hot water.]

Ranma-chan: Watch and don't think I'm a freak, OK?

[He pours the water on himself, turning into a guy.]

Akane: Wow, what happened?

Ranma: Jusenkyou. When you fall into one of those springs, you'll turn 
into
whatever drowned there before.

Akane: Oh. Well in any case, wanna go and spar with me? I haven't been
getting really good. Maybe you can teach me some moves?

Ranma: OK sure, but no malleting, promise?

Akane: OK, but no teasing either. Got it?

Ranma: Whatever

[They go into the dojo.]

Soun: Oh I'm so happy that they're  getting along so well. At last, the
two lines will be joined!!

Nabiki: Daddy, what do you mean?

Soun: Uh, well the reason why they are staying at the dojo is because
saotomeandiengagedoneofyouthreegirlstoranmaatbirth.

Nabiki: Say that again daddy. SLOWLY this time.

Soun: Well, one of you three girls are engaged to Ranma. Don't get mad 
at
me! PLEASE! Waaaaahhhh!!!

Kasumi: Oh my, father how could you do this to us?

Nabiki: Well, Kasumi, we don't have to worry.

Kasumi: Why?

Nabiki: Isn't it obvious? Ranma and Akane are best friends, and Akane 
knows
him alot better than we know him, so...

Soun & Genma: THEY'RE GETTING MARRIED!!!

[They start dancing, much to the discomfort of the two girls. Ranma and
Akane come in.]

Ranma: What's all the commotion about?

Akane: A wedding? Ooh I love weddings.

Ranma: If you keep practicing martial arts, you'll never find a husband
by scaring everyone off. Tomboy.

Akane: Nyah, well at least I don't turn into a girl...heeeheee

[Ranma gets red in the face.]

Ranma: Alright alright, I'll sop teasing.

Akane: Okay, but I won't.

Ranma: Hey!

Akane: Just kidding!

Soun: Awww so sweet, already like a married couple.

[He starts crying.]

Ranma & Akane: WHAT??!!!

Nabiki: Oh it's nothing.

Kasumi: Father and Mr. Saotome engaged Ranma to one of us at birth.

Akane: Oh God.

Ranma: (grabbing Genma by the neck)HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME AND NOT 
TELL
ME SOONER??!!!

Akane: (sobbing) This is not fair. I can't marry Ranma, he's my best 
friend.
All these years waiting for him to come back and I find out that our
friendship is gonna change coz of some stupid thing our baka fathers
did to us.

[Ranma goes and puts his arms around Akane, comforing her, and blushing
slightly. No one notices, except for himself.]

Ranma: Shhh...everything's gonna be fine. Our friendship isn't gonna 
change
one bit. I don't hafta choose yet, so pretend nothing has happened ok?

Akane: Thanks Ranma. You're the best.

Ranma: Uh, well thanks.

[Everyone watches and sees the whole display of affection and decides to
let the subject go.]

Kasumi: Ranma, why don't you go and take a nice warm bath and Akane? 
Help
me prepare dinner.

Ranma: Thanks Kasumi.

[He goes upstairs.]

Akane: Hai, oneechan.

[Upstairs in the bathroom. Ranma is in the furo, relaxing.]

Ranma: (thinking) Why did I blush when I put my arm around Akane? Oh 
well,
I guess she has changed alot since last time I saw her. She was always 
so
cute. To be her husband? That's not so bad, I mean she's got a great
body and she's cute. A great personality too. What more could a guy 
want?
If I had to pick, I'd pi-OH NO!!!Why am I thinking of my best friend
like that now??!!!Akane is my best friend. Nothing can change that. I 
have
no feelings like that towards her.

[Ranma quickly gets out of the furo, dries himself, gets dressed, and 
goes downstairs, just in time for dinner. Once downstairs he sits in the
seat next to Akane, who is in the kitchen. She comes out holding a big 
plate
of something in her hands and she's smiling widely for some reason.]

Akane: Ranma! Just in time for dinner! I helped cook this, hope you like 
it.

[Ranma has a big sweat drop on his face.]

Ranma: Uh...that's okay, Akane...I don't think I wanna try the toxic 
stuff
again. Last time I was in the hospital for nearly a week.

Akane: Hey! That was when I was younger. I've improved, anyways.

Ranma: Not by much, obviously

[Akane mallets him lightly on the head]

Akane: Just try it! Please? (kawaii smile)

Ranma: Whatever.

[Takes a morsel of the overfried gooey things and puts it in his mouth
slowly. Immediately he turns several shades of red, blue, purple, and
finally green.]

Ranma: What the hell was that Akane?

[He passes out.]

Akane: Ranma! Omigod! Call Dr. Tofu!

Nabiki: Well, looks like you've mamaged to severely injure him again, 
Akane.

Kasumi: That's not nice Nabiki.

Soun: (Wailing loudly) Oh now they'll never get married if Ranma dies!

Genma-panda: -Well we can always bury them together!-

Soun: Oh my baby girl's gonna die together with her fiance!

Akane: EVERYONE SHUT UP AND CALL THE DOCTOR!!!!!!

[Suddenly, the wall explodes and a figure is standing there.]

Shampoo: Ai Ren! Wo Ai Ni!

[Glomps onto his prone form. Akane is mad.]

Akane: What do you think you're doing?

Shampoo: Shampoo take care of husband and we live happy ever after!

Akane: Hu-Husband? Ranma's already married?

Shampoo: According to Amazon Law.

Akane: And what may that be?

[Shampoo tosses her the book. Ranma starts stirring awake.]

Ranma: A-Akane

Akane: Yes Ranma?

Shampoo: How dare husband say other woman's name! Shampoo punish 
tonight.

[Everyone looks on with wide eyes.]

Ranma: Sha-Shampoo?

[Ranma is now fully awake and sits up straight.]

Shampoo: Ai Ren!

Ranma: Whoa! Stop that now! How'd you get here?

Shampoo: Shampoo go look for husband when he no come home.

Ranma: I'm NOT your husband!

Shampoo: According to Amazon Law you are.

Nabiki: Well, we're in Japan, not China

Shampoo: Shampoo no care ai ren come with me to China and have many
many children together.

Ranma: NO! I don't wanna, 'sides, I've already got a fiancee

Shampoo: Who other girl?

Ranma: Akane

Shampoo: Shampoo kill!

[She leaps for Akane, but Ranma blocks her path and holds her in place.]

Ranma: Shampoo, don't! She's my best friend!

Shampoo: Shampoo no care! Kill obstacle!

[The wall suddenly explodes with another figure standing there. Hmmm...
It looks like...Mousse!]

Mousse: (to Soun) Shampoo my love! Don't go after Saotome! I am the only
one for you!

Shampoo: Mousse you ask old man to marry you. Ai ren defeat me in 
battle.
I marry him. Is Law. Great-Grandmother want me marry Ai Ren or I die.
Now I kill obstacle

Mousse: But-

Akane: Why are you going after her anyways? She obviously doesn't like 
you
and you can do better anyways...

Shampoo: You shut up!!

[She attacks Akane, but then again Ranma gets in the way and pushes 
Akane out
of danger, only to have her land on Mousse. Mousse, on the other hand is
wondering what just landed on him, so he starts feeling what is on top 
of
him, which is Akane.]

Akane: You pervert!!

[She slaps Mousse and his glasses fall into place. He tries to get up to 
see
who just slapped him. Akane who is also trying to get up accidently gets
Mousse tangled up with her in a mess that ends up with Mousse in between
her chest.]

Ranma: Hey! What do you think you're doing with my fiancee?!

Mousse: This is Shampoo? She looks different, but still as beautiful.

[Akane blushes. Ranma sees this and gets angrier.]

Ranma: That's Akane! Now get you hands off of her, you stupid hentai!

Mousse: Tendo Akane? I've heard that name before...

Ranma: I don't care!! You mess with my fiancee and you pay!

Soun & Genma: YAY!! THEY'RE FINALLY GETTING MARRIED!!!

Ranma, Akane, Shampoo & Mousse: SHUT UP!!!!

Soun: WAHHHH!!!! My baby girl and her friends screamed at me!!

[Suddenly another figure bursts though the wall.]

Ryouga: Where the hell am I now?!!!!

Akane: Ryouga!

[Akane happily runs and hugs him, causing a negative reaction from 
Ranma.]

Ranma: Who the hell are you?!

Ryouga: (reconizes Ranma) Saotome Ranma! You shall pay for what you did
to me!!!

[Ryouga tries to get to Ranma, but Akane's grasp is holding him in 
place.]

Ryouga: Who are you?

Akane: (sounding hurt, with a kawaii expression on her face) Don't you
remember me? Your best friend from school? Remember?

Ryouga: (taking a good look at her) No, not really.

[Akane starts crying. Ranma, Mousse, and Ryouga try to comfort her.]

Shampoo: (sounding pissed) Husband take care of Shampoo, not over 
emotional
girl who cry too much and have loud voice!

Akane: I am not *sniffle* *sniffle* over *sniffle* emotional!

Ranma: Akane! Don't cry, please? You don't look as nearly as cute when 
you
cry.

[Akane blushes, and somehow, Ryouga and Mousse's faces get red, almost 
like
in anger. Shampoo is furious that no one is listening to her.]

Shampoo: Shampoo mad no one listen to her! Mousse you suppose to care 
for me
not over emotion girl!

Mousse: Oh yeah! Shampoo my love! Come to my open arms!

[Runs smack into a wall.]

Ryouga: (muttering) Stupid idiot.

Ranma: For once, I agree with ya.

Ryouga: Saotome Ranma! Prepare to die!!

[Akane grabs Ryouga on the arm and tries to hold him in place for a 
while
before she begins to speak.]

Akane: Ryouga, if you remember our friendship as clearly as I do, then 
please
do me a favor and don't kill him. He's my best friend in the whole world 
and
I don't want him to die.

Ryouga: I don't think that...Oh alright. Saotome, you're lucky that you 
have
such a beautiful and honest friend who values their friendships, unlike 
some
people I know of.

[Ryouga glares at Ranma for a while and Akane blushes. Then he turns to 
Akane
and smiles at her.]

Ryouga: Hey! I think I remember! Aren't you the girl who I trained in 
Martial
Arts when we were 8?

Akane: Fianlly! You remembered!

[Hugs him again, only this time, he returns the hug but with 
awkwardness, as
if he were afraid of Akane punting him...]

Ranma: Ahem. Would you two please get a room if you wanna keep on with 
the
affectionate stuff?!

Akane: (blushes) Sorry.

Kasumi: Oh my. It is getting late. Is anyone staying over tonight? I 
will
have to set up sleeping arrangements for everyone.

Mousse, Shampoo, & Ryouga: I'm staying tonight.

Kasumi: Oh my.

Nabiki: 2,000 yen for staying over. Now pay up.

[All three start to grumble as they hand Nabiki the money.]

Shampoo: At least Shampoo sleep with ai ren tonight.

Ryouga: A-Akane, do you mind if I stay with you tonight?

Akane: Sure, afterall, what are friends for?

Ranma: Akane, are you sure? I mean, how do you know he's not gonna take
advantage of you or anything?

Akane: Relax, Ryouga is an honorable person...he would never take 
advantage
of anyone.

Ryouga: (glaring at Ranma) I'm protecting her from certain hentais in
this house.

Mousse: Tendo Akane, I'm truly sorry for my dishonorable act earlier and 
I
would like to make up to you by protecting you from danger tonight while
I stay over. Will you accept my apology?

Akane: Sure Mousse-kun I now it was an accident anyways. Umm...where are 
you
gonna sleep?

Mousse: Ah...in you room of course.

Nabiki: Looks like Akane's got her hands full tonight, eh, Ranma?

Kasumi: Now that's not polite, Nabiki. Besides, Akane knows better, 
after
what mother told her before.

[Ranma and Akane's faces turn a light shade of pink, but no one notices, 
except for Nabiki.]

Akane: H-Hai

Nabiki: Well, looks like it's time for bed. G'nite everyone.

Kasumi: I'll go and get the sleeping arrangements ready.

Ranma: Kasumi, I'm gonna sleep in Akane's room tonight too. Can't have 
two
unreliable hentis looking after her.

Shampoo: Shampoo sleep with husband!

Kasumi: Oh my. Looks like there's not enough space in Akane's room to 
fit
everyone in there.

Ryouga: It's OK we can all squeeze in somehow.

Mousse: Why don't you just move the bed? We can all sleep on the floor.

Kasumi: Why not?

Ranma: I'll help move the bed.

Ryouga: I'll help.

Kasumi: OK

[Upstairs. They're moving the bed.]

Ranma: Don't try anything funny tonight I'll be watching ya.

Ryouga: I should be the one saying that to you, Saotome. How could you 
force
sweet and innocent Akane to be your fiancee? She's still too young to 
get
married. Besides, you don't deserve her.

Ranma: And what makes you think that I wanted to get engaged? She's my 
best
friend and I'd never hurt her in any way. You, on the other hand, forgot
about her and you were only separated for 8 years. I was separated from 
her
for 10 years and I still remember her!

Ryouga: Well, I helped her improve in Martial Arts!

Ranma: Heh. I was the one who started getting her interested in the Arts 
in
the first place!

Ryouga: I helped her get over her first crush!

Ranma: Who?

Ryouga: You'll see. I think he became a local doctor. You'll need him 
when
Akane rejects you and comes to me!

Ranma: No, you will!

Ryouga: You will!

Ranma: You will!

Ryouga: You will!

Mousse: You both will!

Ranma & Ryouga: No! And shut up! She's mine!

Shampoo: I no belong to bandanna boy or blind Mousse! I belong to Ranma!
(glomps onto Ranma)

Akane: Ranma no BAKA!
(punts him)

Ranma: (thinking) When did she learn to do that?
(he lands in the pond)

Shampoo: Ai ren! (jumps out the window only to see Ranma-chan come out 
of the
pond) Evil woman! Shampoo kill! Where Ranma?!

[Ranma runs away from Shampoo who is sreaming at her to realese her 'Ai 
Ren'.
Everyone watches in amusement as Ranma tries to dodge all the 
projectiles
being thrown at him. Finally, at the edge of town, Ranma loses Shampoo.]

Ranma: (thinking) How the hell did Akane pull that mallet out from no 
where?
Hmm...must ask her later when we go...to...sleep...OH NO!!! If they're 
going
to sleep now, then those two perverts would get their hands all over her 
in
no time! Gotta go save her! Akane hold on a bit longer! I hope she can
defend herself.

[With that silly thought etched in his mind, Ranma ran as fast as he 
could to
the Tendo house.]

Ranma: AKANE! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!

Nighbors: SHUT UP YOU STUPID RECKLESS TEENAGER!!

Akane: (sleepily from her window) Ranma...hurry up and get in here 
before the
nighbors call the police.

[Ranma leaps into her room to find everyone there sleeping together on 
the
floor with their bodies tangled together in one big mass. Ranma gets the
wrong idea that they're exhausted from some activity and Akane being so
tired...]

Ranma: Akane! Oh I'm so sorry I should have been here sooner, and this
wouldn't have happened to you! Don't worry if no one wants you, then, 
I'll
marry you! It's the least I can do to restore your honor. I'm so sorry!

Akane: Ranma what are you talking about? I just woke up to you screaming
my name and now you're blabbering like you've just committed a crime or
something.

Ranma: What they did...I'm so sorry!

Akane: Oh that. It's OK, really. I forgive them.

Ranma: No it isn't! They've damaged your innocence. I shouldn't have let
them go near you!

Akane: What did they do to me that hurt me?

Ranma: How could you take it so lightly? This is a matter of honor!

Akane: Just because they forgot about me, doesn't mean my life's at 
stake!

Ranma: (facefaults) HUH?!

Akane: What do you mean? Isn't this what you were talking about? And how 
did
you know that Mousse and I were...y'know...? What's the word?

Ranma: Lovers?

Akane: No...umm...oh yea! A couple!

Ranma: A couple of what?

Akane: Silly! We dated once, but he had to go back to China before we 
really
got serious.

Ranma: How long ago was that? Two years?

Akane: How'd you know?!

Ranma: Mousse! I'll kill you! How dare you hurt Akane like that?
(Mousse sleeps on.) 
How dare you ignore me right after I say the truth! You have no honor!

Akane: Ranma shut up! go to sleep, OK? It's 1 o'clock in the morning we
have school tomorrow, now turn the lights off and good night!

Ranma: School?

Akane: YES! NOW GO TO SLEEP!

Ranma: Sorry.

[He turns off the lights and lays down on the floor next to Akane, and 
they
go to sleep, each one dreaming of the future.]
