The continuity on this one's a smidgeon corkscrewed.  Surely the

movie

doesn't come before the TV series.  Still, it's a reasonably 
believable bringing together and parting of the twain.  

	Slayers Perfect (Slayers: The Motion Picture in NA) is based upon
Slayers Special, which is the Manga that came out before any other
Slayers merchandise.  Slayers the Anime takes place a few years after
the manga where Lina no longer travels with Naga and has acquired
Gourry as a new travel companion.

	Anyway, the timeline goes like this:

Manga --> Movies --> Slayers --> Next --> Try --> etc....
 

(However, I'm told that Lina is actually older than she looks.}

	Lina doesn't seem to age physically, but does get older.  In the
movie, she's like 14, in slayers she's 16, not a big difference in
appearance.
