:I think the real reason most UY fans don't like it, is that they, :like

I suppose that I could borrow Koosei-kun's Saturn Five...
But, I'm not sure whether most UY fans should or should not venerate
Lum .. ^^; -- it reminds me of the presence of Lum's Stormtroopers
back in their heydays...
I've only caught up to UY - the manga after its' stop-gap release
by Viz came to a halt. I have the manga TPB as they stand, and have
read the available fan-fiction as it stands. UY-TSY provided
a plausible reason for Ataru's behaviour, managed to fulfill his
dreams of a harem...(along with all the problems..) and keeps
Ataru and Lum together.
As Herriot describes it, TSY is a growing up story, perhaps those
that 'detest' the story, don't like the thought of their cute
Oni-chan growing up. <shrugs>
