I bailed somewhat early because I was so tired.  I rested at the hotel for a
while until Nick, John, and Travis returned.  I helped disassemble Nick's LD
player before finally falling asleep.

And then, of course, we couldn't get the cable connection to work :)  

Anna Johnson arrived a little late to the banquet.  She was in her cosplay
costume - Zoicite.  She was *gorgeous*.  The males at my dinner table were
beside themselves.  I could only murmur a few words of appreciation, which
were wholly inadequate.

It was a great costume.  Too bad she didn't have a Tux-boy to taunt,
though :)

The one and only complaint I had about AnimeIowa staff came during this
panel, which was twice disrupted by a volunteer trying to sell AnimeIowa
t-shirts.  Amanda  Winn-Lee finally had to ask him nicely to stop
interrupting.  His enthusiasm was laudable but needed to be tempered just a
bit.

My big problem was that half of the Anime style drawing panel was consumed
by waiting for them to rearrange the furniture, even though the room
hadn't been used for nearly 12 hours before hand and should have been
ready in time.

Most of all, though, I go to cons to meet the people, and this one had a lot
of my favorite friends, old and new.  (Zen, we missed you, and we all
thought good thoughts about you.)  I can't tell you how much I enjoyed
talking with Greg, and John, and Travis - I really miss you guys in Kansas.

Then come on back to Kansas :)
Auntie Em misses you :)

Nick and I have been online friends for a while, but personal presence is
always ever-so-much more enjoyable.  I was glad to finally get a chance to
speak with Jeanne, since we'd barely had time to say hello at AnimeCentral.

I spent a fair hunk of time brainstorming and forcing her to listen to me
rant.  She's cool.
