 Right. Have you ever heard of H.P. Lovecraft? He created a whole Horror 
GENRE! He created the Great Old Ones, of which Cthulu is the mightiest. 
An ancient, evil being from beyond the stars, he sleeps in a sunken city 
called Rl'yeh. A city where the geometry is so twisted, MC Escher would 
need a lie down.

Cthulhu will rise again when The Stars Are Right (hence the title). 
Other Great Old Ones will appear as well when this occurs, such as 
Cthuga, the living star, and Nyarlathotep, the Harbringer. 

There is no killing them. 

Chtulhu reforms after being discorporated. 

The Howl of Nyarlathotep tears apart souls.

The book thad Gendou was reading was the Necronomicon, the book of the 
Mad Arab. And that is a list of warnings, with no way to defeat them. 
Ritsuko and Gendou took the best way out. 

The Magi were chanting in Cthulhu's language that Rl'yeh was risen and 
Cthulhu sleeps no more.
