Hi!
I'd like to get the opinion of some of the FFMLers about some of my plans
for my fic "Falling for an Angel" .
I initially thought about making a language gap between Ranko and Tenchi
when I first thought about the fic.
Ranko would be speaking in the ancient tongue and could clearly understand
every word Tenchi would say but he wouldn't be able to understand what she
would be saying.
The effect I wanted to bring about by doing this is to show her emotions
through descriptive action.
Example would be...
[ Tenchi and Ranko alone together in a dimly lit room. ]
Tenchi : "I wish you could tell me how you feel..."
Looking at his eyes as he whispered this, Ranko couldn't express what she
wanted to say in words he could understand. And sadly she looked down as
she gently rested her head on his shoulder as they embraced, she closed her
eyes as she tried to share the warmth she felt within. Rocking gently as
she did accompanied by the music of their own beating hearts and the
darkness around them...
Tenchi : " I know...I feel the same way too..."
Anyway, what do you guys think?
Sincerely

Silken threads anxious of youth....
Looking at the moon and feeling lonely...
Envious of lovers, not of immortality.
Envious of love, not of immortality. "
