I am nearly "finished" with ADD chapter 3, having finished the scene I was
on when I made my last "nearly done" post and I thought I'd post some info
on its development a few hours before I posted the chapter to help any
prospective C&C'ers give good advice. I didn't really make a fuss about
getting C&C when I reposted chapters one and two earlier in the week because
I knew how a lot of people felt about those chapters but it is critical that
I get some responses to chapter three.
The first issue is spelling and basic sentence mistakes: I am rushing ADD
chapter 3 out of the door faster than a software company in danger of
missing the christmas rush, and I don't have Microsoft Word available as I
did before to help me spot those errors. Expect at least a few mistakes in
this area but unless you feel adamant about reporting them, don't worry
about them. I'll get Word on my machine soon enough and those errors will
become history.
The second issue has to do with how long it took for me to write the
chapter: I finished chapters one and two with about three sittings of 4-5
hours each and thus had everything well organized in my mind as I
progressed. Chapter three was written mostly in small bits over the course
of months, with some sittings producing as little as a paragraph. Although
that probably wont damage the actual story, I'd be interested to hear
whether or not that shows in the finished work.
Well, I'm going to get back to work on this so I can post it by midnight
Eastern Time (U.S.). Once again, when you finish reading ADD chapter three
please send me a response, even if it is just to say that you've read it but
you dont have much to say about it. I'd *love* to get an idea of how many
people are actually reading what I post.
