Yes!  Simulating real life is not the goal of fiction.  Of course being
powerful isn't the same thing as being interesting.

	Well, that's another sweeping statement.  "Simulating real life is
not the goal of the sort of fiction we do here" is probably more accurate.
(Also, that's the only kind of fiction that I read for my own enjoyment, but
there *is* fiction which tries to simulate real life.  It's boring as
watching paint dry, but so it goes.)
