I've just taken a close look at an episode from Slayers TRY,
and I noticed that there are two very strange black circular marks on 
Lina's forehead (I swear! They're there!). We usually don't see them 
because she wears a headband (to prevent people from seeing them?).

Also, there's been mention of Lina's supposed elder sister, stronger 
than the strongest of the demons. Lina takes up a quest that was 
originally hers because she says her job is more important than the fate 
of the world

The older sister is Luna Inverse. She is the Knight Of Chepheed, the
dragon equiv of Shabrandugu. To quote an episode of Try:
"I would rather take on a dark lord with a bamboo stick then
fight my sister" The resturant that she works in is in Zephelia. After
a few incidents, Luna felt that it was time for Lina to see the world. 

(You know how lina is "Dragon Mata" meaning dragons are absolutly
repulsed by her? Luna is Lina-Mata ;-)

Luna has done many cool things. Including killing a dragon with
a kitchen knife ;-)

Luna is also good friends with Dynast, one of the dark lords under
Shabrandugu. In fact, Dynast modeled her Mazouku servent after
her (Hair color etc). The servents name? Xellos. 

Luna also happens to have a pet dog "spot" Spot turns out to
be our favorite werwolf from the first season of slayers ;-)

Luna shows up in the intro of both Next and Try, and is a rather
busty Purple haired waitress.
