It's from the novels. 

Luna is also good friends with Dynast, one of the dark lords under
Shabrandugu. In fact, Dynast modeled her Mazouku servent after
her (Hair color etc). The servents name? Xellos. 

Ehh, chotto matte ... Xelloss was Zelas-Metallium's servant, wasn't he?
	Actually, this info runs counter to what I *thought* I knew about
Xelloss - namely: that he used to be a human priest before he joined the
Mazoku, and had his trickster streak even then. I *also* would have
thought that his appearance is basically the same as when he was a human.
	I'd be curious to know where this information came from.

He is "on loan" from Dynast. I don't know weither or not he was human, 
but I have read in several places that Dynast wanted him to look like 
Luna. (I may have this backwords, it may have been Zelas that is
lending Xellos, but I know someone is "borrowing" him). 

Luna also happens to have a pet dog "spot" Spot turns out to
be our favorite werwolf from the first season of slayers ;-)

wait and find out when I get to see the appropriate part of the anime.

Yep. There is a spoiler pic of Luna walking her dog ;-) (That is
from the novels)...

BTW, Luna is consistantly at or near the top of the popularity
polls in the novels, even though she has yet to have a single
appearence. In the anime, the only line we ever hear from
her is thru a letter:
" Just do it, signed Big Sister."

Lina's reaction to this is quite cool ;-)

Guess we will just have to wait for CPM to release the novels.
