<<Action-oriented Ranma fanfiction simply doesn't work.>>

ARRRRGH! HE GUBBYED ME! ^_^

(Although, I've got one question... Biggie Biggs?)

<<Yawn.> GUTB is of course, wrong. It is not true that action
oriented Ranma fiction "doesn't work" but it is true that it takes
more effort to make it work.>

(Nod nod) I know. This IS only the first chapter, after all.

<However this Terminator/Ranma fusion is taking a high-risk road by
introducing both a new antagonist and a new protagonist who appears
to be about to shove Ranma aside and take on the job of saving Akane.

Uhhh... let me dispell this now. This ISN'T going to be a
Ranma/Terminator fusion (but if anyone wants to do one, they can go
right ahead ^_^). I only included Tech Noir and the "Come with me if
you want to live" line as a way of admitting that this storys'
concept does borrow heavily from Terminators' concept. However, the
similarities end there.

<It seems problomatic at best to leave Ranma out of a Ranma fanfic,>

Don't worry. Remember, Ranma IS on his way to the club.

<I hope that the author won't go so far as to cut Ranma entirely out
of picture by duplicating the pivotal Terminator plot twist. For one
thing, that would be unoriginal.>

For another thing, that would be impossible, since Zero is a Reploid.
Besides, I've got a little Chubby Checkers meets the Elvis Pelvis
twist of my own. (Note to self: Keep your Keener-isms under control)

<<The author can explore Ranma much more effectivly confining himself
to the cannon material.>>

BZZZZ! I'm sorry. You don't go home with the lifetime supply of
Rice-A-Roni, the San Fransisco Treat <Ding ding>. However, you DO
get a thought out, rationalized rubutal:

There is only so much one can do if you, "stick to the canon
material". Besides, I've always been the type who HAS to include
other sources in his story (even if it only amounts to a one line
cameo) or I feel it isn't a good story.

If you'll check Andrew Huangs Author Dictionary, you'll see my name
there and next to it, the description "Cross-overs anyone?".

Besides, if you "stick to the cannon material" there are only so many
stories you can write and then, fanfiction gets boring.

But... that's simply my opinion, not yours and you're welcome to it.
