Hmmmm, just my most humble opinion. Fanfic in itself is suppose to be
the writer's own interpretations of the original work and all the rest
of us can offer is our opinion. Even Shakespeare has a billion
interpretations, let alone Richard Lawson's works as well as Ranma 1/2
itself.
I must point out the fact that everyone feels so *strongly* about
Lawson's work should be a huge compliment to him since people care
enough about his work to discuss it in such great detail.
For the record, I loved Thy Inward Love, Thy Outward Part, and Magic
though that not how I would of written the Ranma universe.
I believe (most humbly ^_^) that reading fanfiction is a great way of
seeing a well-known universe with some many different alternatives.
Though I do not personally like all the alternatives, I love the
creative process behind it. We each see our own universe differently,
as we do Ranma's. Anything is possible )^^(!
Sincerely,
Morganine )^^(
I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right
to
say it.

Right on.
