Okay this is the most verbose post I've seen
Gubby put out yet. He has listed why he doesn't
like the way Lawson treats the characters of
Ranma 1/2 in his TIL.

I happen to think that their are few changes
I'd like to make in TIL and Magic myself but
on the whole I'm happy with them as they are.

I also do not happen think that they are
character slams. Fics that I do think are
character slams are Curse of Darkness and
Kyoto Chronicles (nothing personal there
Blade, Epsilon). And as Blade said in the
notes to his Ranma/Star Wars fusion, if
you don't like the way they wrote the fic
then feel free to ignore them.

THIS is an interesting twist... while Blade certainly has a certain view 
of the manga characterizations, his treatment of them in Curse of 
Darkness is hardly a "slam"... just a bit abrasive on Ranma's part. And 
Kyoto Chronicles... ??? What PART of that could be a slam?

The second is soon to be continued (sooner if Blade talks Harnum into 
doing it ;p) and the plot structure definitely doesn't have too much in 
the way of a character slam.

Oh, and would people -please- stop replying to AM's messages? It doesn't 
do me any good to killfile him if every message he writes spawns a dozen 
more.
