I agree that more fanfics ought to be posted. I was too busy shopping yesterday to do any 
solid work on any of mine, tho'. Sorry 'bout that, chief.

I end this message with two quotes that I hope will help placate some of
the more overzealous among us.

Not a bad quote, But it presumes a lack of information on the part of one or both 
parties when the fact could be that the person *is* informed and just doesn't care.

Did Voltaire ever consider, when he said that, the politicians throughout the world who 
would use their words to crush those of their opponents? And did he ever think of how 
people's words influence the choices we make. If a group of people decided in a private 
discussion, for example, that they didn't like a writer on the list, they might post 
negative C&C in the hopes that it would make people not bother to read it. I think this 
list is above petty things like that, of course. I'm merely giving some examples of what 
can happen if the "right to say it" is misused.
