Chalker would be weirdly appropriate. In _every_ one of his books, the
protagonist (or at least a main character) changes bodies, and usually
genders. Every one. Check it out. It's a major theme running through
his works, and the Jusenkyo gang would fit right in.
Though if I were going to choose a Chalker world to cross with, I'd
think the River of Dancing Gods series would be a better choice.
(On the other hand, would a Jusenkyo curse survive a Wellworld
alteration? Ranma might end up human only in cursed form.)
Why would it have to? In Wellworld it could BE a well effect, like
Nathen and Marvra's link. I mean, what else would be at the bottom of
the spring's but a crashed well portal, and what better way of handling
the curse then a computer that maintains the body's form anyway.
