You know, I have to say ... this is the funniest thing I've read in a
long time. Not because of the story, mind you. Because of the (ahem)
"writing".
Has anyone else out there ever read (or browse) a book by Pedro
Carolino
called "English as she is spoke" (aka "Fractured English as she is
spoke")?
It's a Portugese/English phrasebook written by a man who didn't have a
Portugese/English dictionary, but did have Portugese/French and
French/English
dictionaries. The results are ... indescribable.
That's the way this fanfic reads, too.
I can't say that I have, but I would like to add that not only does
Thinker have what Jack Perkins might call "delightfully bad spelling
and grammar," but, unlike some authors I could mention, he enjoys (and
even encourages) MSTings.
