I am looking for complete schools of arts. A total fighting style and

people come up with do not count. To that end, I have removed some
suspicous things from the list.

Now, this puts things like the Yamasenken on shaky ground, but since
Takahashi describes it as an art, I'll accept it.

I _NEED_ help filling in some of the blanks between #33 and #38 on the
fanfic list. Please, if you can help, do so.

Now you think with all of those schools of fighting (about 100 on my count)
you'd think all of them would have good fighting scenes/sequences. Wrong!
With that in mind, may I present my list...
****************
Top Ten Signs You're Reading a Bad Fighting Scene:
10) Dragonball Z characters get tired of throwing chis at each other, end up
    using Usis.
 9) The fights involve having sex, a la La Blue Girl.
 8) The *Only* reason Usagi is actually fighting well is that she's on her
    period.
 7) Gets defeated by Kasumi and a Teflon pan.
 6) Gets defeated by Nabiki and a credit card.
 5) First quoted line in a fight: "Ranma/protagnoist's first name...it's all
    your fault!!!"
 4) A girl defeats a demon by having sex. A guy defeats a demon by gathering
shrubbery & saying "Ne!" a couple thousand times or having the Sword of
    Light (TM).
 3) Gets defeated by Usagi, *before* she powers up.
 2) Gets defeated by a whining C-ko.
And the number one sign you're reading a bad fighting scene...
 1) He or she gets defeated by Dan.

By the way, Chris, explain to me why are you so admant on figuring out how many
different types of fighting styles that have been used in Ranma-fics?
Personally, I'd rather see a list stating the best written fights rather than
who fights which style. It really isn't the style of the fight but the fight
itself that is intriguing to watch. Heck, watch any Jacky Chan or Claude Van
Damme movie.
