way I'd like to thank you for being so patient and not flaming us like
others.

I'm sorry but that is our policy. This site is for people of ALL

and lemons are not sutible for people of young ages. Sorry!

Oh yeah one more rule to add to that one post. Unfortunately, we
will
be only excepting NEW fics. Sorry, but you'll have to get some new
material for this contest :P These are not only MY rules so please
don't flame me.

About the size restrictions.. us judges have decided how big we want

these things. I'll get back to you on that.

Thank you very much, by the way, Andy for catching the point that
the
contest is open to ALL genre. That means ANY series what-so-ever.

We're talking with the site owner at the moment... so please, if you

could, hold back submissions until next post. Thanks!

When you do get done talking with the site owner, could you please
post
a more explicit set of rules and objectives? Among the major holes
identified so far:

1. A *corporate* sponsor for a *fanfic* competition? There are legal
complications involved here. Corporations tend not to step in legally

complicated matters without taking appropriate precautions - may we
know
what they are in this case?

2. You've said you don't want lemons, but what are you looking *for*?
"Best fanfic", by itself, is far too vague to be meaningful: no fanfic

appeals to everyone at all times. (Just like most media.)

3. How new is new? Specially authored just for this contest? Posted
to FFML/RAAC within the past month? Year?

4. What is the site? Your initial message said "Animecon.com", but
according to InterNIC (the organization which is, at the moment,
exclusively in charge of handing out all *.com domain names), that
name
has not been registered. (The lack of registration can be verified at

http://www.internic.net/cgi-bin/itts/whois .) If "Animecon.com" is
merely an Internet-sounding name, what is the actual site's URL?
